What will you do?

As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for the discipline control and administration of our project process. You will play a key role in the coordination and efficient flow of project information through the various internal departments starting with order initiation through to shipping, while actively keeping internal and external stakeholders informed of project statuses.

What will be your responsibilities?

You will….

  • Acknowledge the awarded project by contacting our clients to request required documentation to initiate the project process.
  • Manage the flow of information and documentation between our clients and our project management team.
  • Enter project information into our ERP system to ensure we have an update-to-date snapshot of our project pipeline.
  • Provide regular updates and information to the project management team.
  • Keep our management team up to date on our projects by creating weekly reports.
  • Create production orders.
  • Maintaining knowledge of all the company’s product lines.
  • Support the project process by working in partnership with the production coordinator to ensure committed shipment dates are fulfilled.
  • Assist in creating envelops, box labels, skid labels and shipping manifests.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees, managers and clients by acting in a manner that builds trust, credibility and rapport.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

What will you bring to the Team?

  • A post-secondary education in business, project management, administration or related field.
  • A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of project coordination experience in a manufacturing and/or construction industry.
  • Proven ability to effectively coordinate projects through the partnership of a project management team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal) to gather information and keep others informed.
  • Proven ability to work in a high-paced environment requiring multi-tasking, time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills and a working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and CRM experience.
  • A team player with a positive attitude, highly motivated, and proven ability to build relationships at all levels within an organization.
