Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager who can efficiently orchestrate multiple projects from the initiated stage through to installation of architectural walls to the satisfaction of our customers; someone who can take “ownership” of the project during the entire process while ensuring the customers are kept abreast of their orders.

PC350 is a leading manufacturer of architectural walls who deliver a comprehensive portfolio of products for commercial and corporate spaces; which include: sliding, swing and barn door systems. Aesthetically beautiful and technologically advanced, our products are custom manufactured on-site to meet all our clients’ design needs.

What will be your responsibilities?

  • Communicating with clients to understand their requirements and scope of the project to ensure their expectations are met.
  • Reviewing shop drawings for accuracy and design intent along with other production information.
  • Managing the project scope, schedule planning and monitoring project costs (including tracking margins) using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Managing timeline and milestone by creating timelines based on client milestones, ensuring deliverables are met per client agree upon timelines.
  • Reviewing and processing change orders.
  • Maintaining all project documentation through the process.
  • Ensuring projects are accurately delivered on and installed according to PC350 recommendations and requirements, while fulfilling design intent and contractor’s expectations.
  • Continuously communicating with clients throughout the manufacturing process to provide updates on the project’s progress; discussing any issues/delays that might occur and providing them with solutions when
  • When the project requires, attending site visits and construction meetings to provide insight and assistance on clarification and elaboration of product applications and solutions to maintain the project timelines all the while presenting the Company in a positive way as the subject matter expert
  • Developing a strong, working knowledge of door and frame hardware and applications as it relates to both the written hardware schedules and the PC350 application.
  • Liaising with clients and other involved parties (e.g. General Contractor, Designer, End User), when requested, to ensure the project is moving forward according to the order specifications.
  • Preparing status reports.
  • Communicating internally to ensure all team members involved understand the scope of the project, working together as a team to remove any obstacle to deliver the project on time with the highest quality of standard.

What will you bring to the Team?

Your Qualifications will consist of:

 

  • A post-secondary education in architecture, engineering, or construction.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years experience in a Project Manager position.
  • PMP or CAPM is an asset.
  • Experience reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, CRM, ERP, AutoCAD & Adobe.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
  • A proven team player that believes all team members contributes to the success of a project.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal) to build effective and long-lasting relationships with clients, team members and contractors.
  • Excellent attention to quality, accuracy and details and proven ability to work under tight deadlines.
